The TS-80 acoustic floor mount has been designed to provide comfort in high noise environments such as bars, restaurants, theatres and laundries. This is crucial where daily operations and ambient noise can cause discomfort to both employees and customers.
The acoustic floor mount incorporates a patented system that includes levelling stops that are designed to enhance axial compression. The levelling stops optimise the acoustic mount’s performance and increases acoustic insulation. This model has been shown to be two to three times more effective compared to traditional damping systems. This makes the TS-80 profile a superior choice for engineers looking to mitigate noise and maximise comfort in noisy environments.
The trapezoidal design of the acoustic floor mount features four inward facing indentations that forms a X-shape configuration. Not only does this increase its internal elasticity, it also improves its noise treatment performance. In addition to this, it facilitates proper seating across a wide range of substrates. The TPE composition provides superior acoustic damping compared to traditional polymers such as EPDM and polyurethane. This advanced material provides exceptional durability and effectiveness in acoustic insulation.
As well as the TS-80 profile, you may also wish to consider the ACV-50 acoustic mount profile. It provides the performance characteristic benefits of the TS-80 profile as well as an EPDM top plate. This allows the ACV-50 to absorb minor surface imperfections in floor boards. In addition to this it improves the strength and durability of the acoustic mount even further.
For floors subject to high intensity activity such as gyms, crossfit rooms, cinemas and auditoriums we would recommend the TS-60 series. Taller than the TS-80 profile, its increased height provides greater air cavity and increases the amount of sound absorbing material. By utilising this profile it creates further distance between the acoustic system and the structural floor. This in turn increases acoustic insulation that can provide two to three times greater performance compared to acoustic floors of a lower height.
